How can therapy help?
Having a confidential, non-judgemental space where you feel heard, accepted and understood can make a meaningful difference. Research shows that therapy can help reduce stress, improve wellbeing and build resilience.
How do I choose a therapist?
It is important that you find a therapist you feel comfortable with. I encourage you to reach out to a few therapists before making a decision.

Do you work online as well as in person?
Yes. I offer both in-person and online sessions, so we can work in whichever way suits you. I see clients in person in Leyton, East London, a short 15min walk from Leyton or Leytonstone Station on the Central line and 20min from Leyton Midland Road on the Suffragette Overground line. I regularly work with people from across the surrounding area, including Leytonstone, Walthamstow, Stratford, Hackney, Forest Gate and Wanstead, and online with clients further afield.
What about accessibility?
In-person sessions take place in a room that is accessible via a narrow path and some steps. It is not wheelchair accessible, and there is no toilet. For anyone who cannot easily reach or use the room, I offer the same work online. If you have any access needs, please tell me before we begin and we will find what works best.
Do you offer short-term or long-term therapy?
Both. I offer short-term work of around 10 to 12 sessions, or open-ended longer-term therapy, depending on what you are looking for.
How many sessions will I need?
We will usually begin with 8 sessions to build a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship. Afterwards, we will review your progress and decide together whether to continue or conclude based on your needs and goals.
How long are the sessions?
Sessions are 50 minutes long. I offer sessions on weekday mornings, during the day and in the early evening.
Do you offer therapy in German?
Yes. I practise in German or English, whichever feels more natural to you. Manche Klientinnen und Klienten wechseln auch zwischen beiden Sprachen, das ist völlig in Ordnung.
How much does a session cost?
My fee is £70 per session for individuals.
I offer a limited number of low-cost places for people on low incomes. At this point I do not accept clients through private medical insurance.
What is your cancellation policy?
If the session is cancelled at least one week in advance no fee is due. In cases where you cancel less than a week in advance and we can’t find a time to reschedule to, our agreed fee is due as the time is reserved exclusively for you. There is no fixed notice period for reschedules; reschedules depend on finding matching availability. This may or may not be possible.
